INDONESIAN EXHIBITION IN FRENSTAT POD RADHOSTEM, CZECK REPULIC
London, Apr 19 (ANTARA) - An exhibition of various Indonesian traditional products was opened by the Mayor of Frenstat Radhostem, Stanislav pod Hrabovsky, at the city museum some 400 kilometers from Prague, Czeck Republic.
The one-month exhibition until May 16 featured Gamelan and Angklung, and various traditional cloths like Batiks, Tapis, and Ulos, Social, Cultural, and Tourism Counselor of the Indonesian embassy in Prague Azis Nurwahyudi told Antara's London correspondent on Monday.
The exhibition also featured various traditional weapons like Keris, Badik, and Mandau, and wooden statues and special Balinese paintings.
In the meantime, photos on the life of Indonesians are also displayed in some special section of the museum in addition to various handicraft products, like handbags, wallets, purses, sandals, ornaments, and souvenirs.
To complete knowledge about Indonesia, also on display are spices, musical instruments, and recipes of various regions in Indonesia.
Mayor of Frenstat pod Radhostem in his opening address said that he was very happy to be able to present Indonesia in the city somew 400 kilometers from Prague.
In the meantime, Azis Nurwahyudi in her brief address conveyed the friendship of the Indonesian people to the residents of Frenstats pod Radhostem.
He also invited the residents of the city to come to Indonesia to become familiar with the culture and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of Indonesia.
